I've got my email set up on my BB and receive it fine, however, it pulls the email from my Outlook not allowing me to open email on my computer. Is there a setting to change that would allow me to receive email on my BB but also allow me to still open it on my computer?

Thanks,

Scott

This may be a limitation of POP3 email. With IMAP you can definitely choose to leave mail on the server and access it on both your BB and pc. I don't know of a setting on the Blackberry, however, that will leave a copy of a message on the server for POP3 accounts.

When you open Outlook go to email setting then more setting and advanced and check off leave a copy on the server.

This is an inelegant solution that is likely to cause you some grief on down the road. Most all email servers run IMAP these days. If your ISP offers webmail interface then they definitely do. So maybe you may want to reconfig your outlook to use IMAP instead of POP.

Not really a genius on the email side what is the difference between the two.
