Tmobile blackberry

Hello I have a blackberry 7105t and I tried to install google maps onto my phone, but when I run it, it says network failure. I also read about tmobile blocking ports or something. Is there a way to get around this because I am a little confused.

luca662, when you launched google maps, did you get the prompt to allow connection? Did you allow?
Do you have an IT policy on the 7105t?

Are you original owner?.... If it is used, it could have a policy from being on BES previously. Did you check?

I was just looking at another thread in 8700 forum where it is mentioned that Tmo is having TCP/IP issues that effect some users but not all.
Also, what OS are you running? Can you upgrade to latest for the 7105t?

I guess if it was me I would delete google maps, do hard reset, and reinstall. Otherwise I'm out of ideas.

Hard reset = pull battery
You should try that first (before deleting google maps) if you didn't try already.

luca662, out of ideas, but double checking..... You do have GPRS showing (not gprs) and you are getting consistent reception?
You are downloading google maps over the air?
I don't personally know of issues with 7100, but have you searched the 7100 and gps forums? Also google?
I did use it a long time ago with a 7100t with no problems but that was many versions ago.
