I have purchased one off ebay and I wanna make sure that the problem may just be the battery, if its the phone I will get my money back.

So heres the problem...

I charged the phone completely last night. Took the phone off charge and texted for about an hour (roughly 50 - 75 messages). I did not surf the web or anything, just SMS. I noticed that the battery was already down to 75% by an hour. Then at 70% the phone just shut off. The only way I could turn the phone back on was to plug the phone in. The battery then said it was "Low Battery" and was at 10%.

I talked to the seller and he said it may be the battery because its the original battery and is sending me 2 new batteries. I am just making sure that the problem is not internal, that it may only be the battery.

Kind of annoying when I have to put my phone on charge after using it for an hour. Also I noticed that the battery will go from 10% to 100% in about 40 minutes. So I am beginning to think that it is just the battery not holding charge long enough.
