Default HOW TO: Remove 'EN' icon from screen

Please Login to Remove!

I finally figured out how to remove the annoying 'EN' icon from the top right of the screen when you have the virtual keyboard open.

Goto:
Option --> Language

At the bottom, change the option "Language ID" from 'Automatic' to 'HIDE'.

You will NEVER see the annoying EN icon ever again!!!
I had even tried wiping and upgrading my OS, and it still showed up, but I found this option to get rid of it

Here is a screenshot to show you.

I'm confused : I get a "Enable Quick Selection" field instead of the "Language ID"
I particulary hate the Language ID thing when viewing pics (I wonder why it is there)

p.d: I have .78 version

That explains why I can't disable this "EN" symbol as well. I'm still using using the crappy .75 original VZW release.

.132 is the better choice.

you wiped your phone's software just because if that icon ?

i leave mine on auto, it shows the icon breifly....comes in handy if you have additional languages on the phone.
