Hi all,

I was trying to upgrade my Blackberry 8830s through the web ( device connected to USB) and i received a message from the ActiveX control saying i could not upgrade my Os from the WEB, because im part of a BES and i had to talk to my administrator about how to upgrade through BES... The Problem is.. I am the administrator and i have no clue how to push these updates. I read they were not pushed through the wireless network because its too risky (packet loss)

Sorry - slightly confused by what you mean by upgrading the OS from the "WEB".

Best way to upgrade would be:

- Download and install BB Desktop Manager (v4.6 or 4.7)
- Download the OS file on your computer and run the package (install it on the computer).
- Plug your BB to your computer using USB and follow installation steps (backing up your device also).
- Once the new OS has been loaded, re-run EA
