So maybe I am doing something wrong here?? I wanted to find a way to keep my work email seperate from all other mail, messages, whatever. Someone said to download the BES Mailbox. It just so happens there was a free trial before paying the $19.99 (and I am glad there was) and I downloaded it, but it doesnt just hold my work email. I am still getting phone call logs, and other messages in this folder. Am I doing something wrong here or is this application just no good?

Did you go to >Phone >Options >Call Logging and set call logs to "none?" What other messages besides call logs are going into the BES Mailbox? I tried it a while back and it worked as advertised.

I run with one mailbox icon on the home screen and use saved searches to do the same thing. You can assign a shotcut key to the saved search, so it only takes a quick key-combo press to jump to the single mailbox.

For example, I have a saved search for Gmail (ALT-G), Comcast (ALT-C), Yahoo! (ALT+Y), and (ALT-H) for my work e-mail (my company's name starts with H). This is on a 8700 series device, so there may be some shortcut key restrictions that I'm not aware of for the suretype devices.

To set this up, do the following:
Go into messages, bring up the menu, and select Search.
Change the "Service:" option from "All Services" to the account you want, and then bring up the menu again and select save.
Give it a easy to remember title (it will appear at the top of the screen when the filter is active) and a hotkey combination.
Bring up the menu again, and select "Save".

I tried using BES mailbox, but I found the shortcut key solution much cleaner -- especially since I have 4 e-mail accounts on my BlackBerry.

There's also some useful pre-defined searches in there -- ALT+U for unread, ALT+P for phone calls, ALT+S for SMS, etc.

John Clark, you are everywhere man. This is actually VTXKEV who you helped eariler (thank you) just using my wifes account. Didnt realize she was logged in. But it appears since I have seperated the sms messages they have their own folder, but anything to my gmail account ends up in all 3 folders. The org messages, BES Mailbox & gmail folder. And if I dont log phone calls like you said...does that just not log them on the message screen or does it not log them at all so I can never see who called me or I called.

Kormac, Thanks! Would like to know how to reset it. I firstly used Alt+d then I tried to change to Alt+g. After saving the settings, now I have both Alt+d and also Alt+g to display the same Mailbox.

Oh, I know how to do it now... Anyway, thanks again.
