Red face Loving my new curve... Quick questions tho...

Please Login to Remove!

I just switched from my 1 1/2 year old Pearl to a 1 year old Curve. I love it. it is a lot faster and can load web pages that my Pearl could not.

I definitely do miss my pink ball tho... I was wondering if any one had ever done something like this... The ball is yellowing a little since it is a year+ old. I was thinking about like, soaking it in red or pink koolaid or food coloring or something to make it kinda of pink, and look pink when the white light shines though. Have yall ever heard of someone doing something like that?

I was also wondering... Will the new OS updates include applications that are now included on the newer Curves that were not previously on the older ones? For example, my Curve came out before AIM was available WITh the phone, and my husbands brand new one has it on there already. I am in the process of trying to find it to download, but will updating the new software do it for me?

Thanks so much

if you're on the same carrier as your husband, it shouldn't be hard. you don't need to update your BB to use aim. i'm pretty sure you can just find a link & download it or re-send your service books.

yes, if you have a user license, you can transfer your jivetalk from your pearl to your curve.

I am not so sure about the soaking the ball in kool-aid. Give it a try. Worst case scenario is, you have to get a new ball HERE which would
be the normal option anyways...

Even if you don't think you'll ever upgrade I recommend the user license. You'll never know when you'll end up with a warranty (or non-warranty) replacement.

I would recommend against soaking it in anything. That could leave a residue on the ball which could junk up your Berry.
