Occasionally, when I go to a website from my BlackBerry, I get prompted for username, domain and password - my company's proxy server credentials.

We're running BESX 5.02.

I don't want BlackBerry browsing to go through the BESX server; how can I stop it? I'm puzzled as to why it only happens occasionally.

Do you have MDS installed?

Yes. Although I don't think we're actually using it for anything, not do we intend to. I think (I'm no expert on MDS).

I was using OS6, now OS7. I originally set up some proxy rules in MDS so that the Playbook Bridge Browser could get to websites via proxy, but the improved bridging on the Playbook means that's no longer necessary.
