Given more memory, poorly written applications will simply use it.

Many (perhaps the vast majority) of people have never had a memory leak issue.
Well since the only applications I have on my Curve are the google applications, I would assume these are not the most poorly written applications.

I want the bold over my curve simply because of a stand that I saw for sale on ebay that makes it my clock for my night stand. Hope that really works!! Also would like the faster processor. I get tired of waiting on my curve to ketchup!!

Not over 399, possibly 299.

that's the rumor. $250-$300 with a 2year contract. They are trying to price it like they did the Curve when it first came out. I would assume when they release the 8900, the price of the 8300 series should drop.

I'm so ready for this phone to come out. I hope it's out by Xmas. Be nice little present for myself.

8320 maybe, the 8310 is already very cheap, 80 bucks for a blackberry.

i remember paying 225 for my 8100 back in summer 07, and it was almost a year old then :(

Maybe the 8310 will be discontinued. Who knows, but that's usually the trend for smartphones and dumbphones alike.

Roll in the new, and roll out the old. Sounds like me in oh... 40 years, lol

word.

looks like the curve already dropped in price a bit. my pearl is starting to crap out after about 2 years of use. looks like i can get the curve for like 100 bucks. i'm still a blackberry n00b, so i figure the curve will be plenty for me....

the javelin would be nice though...

The Javelin is definitely nice. IMHO, it's a step up from the current gen Curve although both use EDGE. If you can wait a bit I would. The Javelin is a great device.

The curve is out there sometimes for $49.00 with contract now. I think I saw TM have it for this. Lately, have any of you been crusing phone stores hoping to see new phones?

(Yes, I admit it, I went to Verizon to see if they had a new Storm - just hoping to catch a glimpse) (and look at TM just to see what's up)

I just setup our first At&t Bold today... Menu is fast fast fast and trackball is smooth and fast. Ran EA and all is well for our Tech Manager... I would almost say that working with the theme is a bit of a change going from the 8310 to the Bold...

If any of you get to demo the Javlin let us know...

H.
