I bought the one from Buy.com via google checkout on the 2nd but still haven't gotten a shipping date. Status says "on order"

I also did the buy.com from a second company and just got notice today it shipped. bought it on the 5th.

Same here. All I've gotten for my $25 so far is an email saying that they'll email me when it ships. Nothing else.

I just checked Buy.com for their definition of "on order" and it sounds as if they don't even have them in stock:

"On Order
We are making every effort to ship your product to you as soon as possible. Unless your item is on pre-order, our supplier has not given us an expected arrival date.

We'll send you eMails updating you on the status of your order. You may cancel any item that is not in stock up to the day the product ships by clicking on 'cancel item' from within your order summary."

Well now, isn't this just peachy....? Sell something that you don't have at a price guaranteed to get buyers in the door, then tell them to cancel the order and come back later when it's full price. No thanks. Doesn't make for such a good impression of Buy.com.

I just emailed them too! I have not got any emails either! I checked the status a day after I ordered it, and it said, shipped to the where house, according to Buy.com shipping process, this means that it was on its way to being shipped, I checked it right now and it said, on order! Wtf is going on????????

You'll probably have to contact them because they apparently won't contact you about it. I'm pissed....I've been doing the back and forth emails for two days now and finally asked them this morning for a refund. This evening I got a reply with links to some of their other vendors so that I can buy it from them.

Wait a minute you friggin' idiots! I already bought the damned thing from YOU! Why don't you go and buy it and then send it my way?

Okay....Rant over. But I never did get a refund.

I doubt I ever venture over to Buy.com again.
