So I just upgraded to 4.5.0.52 today and everything seems to be working great -except- for under my "messages" icon I have like 50 copies of my original email congratulating me for setting up BIS.

These won't for some reason delete, anyone have any suggestions on how to clear them out of there? I've already tried the following:

1) Deleted my email accts in BIS and battery pulled before setting them up again
2) Desktop Manager / Backup and Restore / Advanced - cleared the messages DB - nope still there

Anything else I can try?

That looks like a PIN Message. So best clear the "PIN Messages DB"

That DB shows up as empty and I cleared it anyway, but they're still there.

Anything else? it's not that big of a deal, but it's skewing my email indicators....

For reasons like this, stuck icons, I turn the radio off during OS upgrades. A similar thing happened to me before (missed call icon) and the only thing that solved the problem was wipe and re-install OS.

yea I was hoping not to have to do that but that was going to be my last resort

Usually when you go to load the software on, the DM automatically turns off your radio. But never had this happen

Usually it does, but it did not do it one time for me, and guess what, wipe and re-install was the only way to get out of it.
