You dont need to ask the same questions twice in a row. Be patient and wait.
That said, try to reinstall the software. Delete the vendor.xml, and run loader.exe from the same folder.
Make sure you are following the upgrade instructions included in the beginning of this post.

Hi,

Just one question, do I need to wipe the device before starting the upgrade process.

No under normal circumstance. I have done multiple OS upgrades for both Storm1 and Storm2 for various OS releases (leaked or official release versions), never had any problem.

For those of one heavily utilize custom applications and/or modify extensively to their device settings, registry hacking, etc. may need device wipe for particular releases.

Not sure exactly related to your device. you may need to do a clean wipe your device and re-install the OS. Search on this forum, there are several topics related to how to do the clearn wipe. Personally, I have not experience it yet.

Another alternative is to try to do the upgrade on another PC just in case it is something on your PC that preventing the drivers load it properly.

Downloaded, ran/installed file, deleted vendor file, ran loader,,,,worked just fine. This OS seems to be solid and smooth.

Found my own answer. Now you have to set a password to have the lock icon appear again.

I have been using this since Saturday. Love the quick browser and typing. The only drawback seems to be that it will no longer function with my Mac DM. Calendar will sync, but the address book hangs, and then I get a "please try again" message. Any ideas how to correct this?

Is anyone with old built experiencing the "double click" of END or Menu key or any related problems?

I refuse to go through the exchanging phone experience again (until absolutely necessary) so I would like to know is this issue is a persistent hardware failure or OS related.

I'm on .451 and I get it sometimes.

Working well for me since I installed it Wednesday evening.

Don't particularly like the changed lock behavior but the OS is smooth & snappy.

Is anyone else having wifi issues after upgrading? The upgrade went smooth and the device is flying afterwards. One problem that i'm having is that after the upgrade, i can no longer connect to my home wireless network. The phone connects (see the SSID above the clock) but the little wifi icon stays grey. I tried using the tools on the phone to ping the gateway and it always fails. I tried to re-register the HRT and resend the service books but no luck. Anyone else experiencing this or have any ideas?

Just tried after reading your post; no issues here - wifi icon is b&w, and my router shows my 9550 as connected.

I would like to consider myself capable on a BB but I must not be. I keep seeing posts about update to .517 but I get on Verizon, and Blackberry but I keep getting that I am running most current OS of .320...... is this correct? I see .517 is available for Sasktel but not VZW. If I am running an old OS could someone tell me whereto go to find the new one.

PEACE

Follow the steps at the beggining of this thread and you can use this update with any carrier. I have Verizon as well but I'm running .451 temporally
