I fell for the old xxx8220;grass is always greener on the other sidexxx8221; trick again. This time it was the most recent Slacker upgrade. Ixxx8217;ve twice deleted and reinstalled the upgrade; however, whenever I try to run the app I receive the following xxx8220;error starting Slacker_radio: error loading module xxx8216;slacker_radioxxx8217; out of Memory Errorxxx8221;. I'm running os 4.7 on a 9630 via Verizon with 75 MB free memory. Any suggestions?

I had the same errors on my 8900. I rebooted my blackberry hoping that would fix my problems but it resulted in the dreaded error 552 - reload software. I had to reload my OS. I hope your luck was better than mine.

It is an OS software issue on 4.7..61. Read through this link, http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...or-9630-a.html it is about the Kindle app, but it doesn't matter, same goes for your Slacker issues.

Thanks surfgromo4 but it was too late for me. After a reboot I got the white screen of death causing me to do a wipe an re-install (again). Think next time I'll sit back and stay down for a week or two before I jump right into an upgrade. This is not the first time I've been burned by going after an upgrade the day it was released only to discover bugs and flaws in the app.

I was about to upgrade Slacker the other day myself. Glad to know this (though I'm sorry it caused you issues).

Recently traded in my Tour OS 4.7 for a Storm 2 running OS 5.0. Tried to install Slacker and received the xxx8220;program did not installxxx8221; message and decided not to press my luck. An earlier post suggested an OS upgrade, but in my case it didnxxx8217;t change a thing.
