Default Unlocked BB - Multiple BIS Multiple Simcards Possible?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi
I searched some forums and google as well and only found one apparently relevant answer to my question. It didn't fill me with confidence so I had to start this thread. Forgive me if this question is asked and answered somewhere else!

I am wondering if it is possible to have an unlocked blackberry, multiple sim cards and multiple BIS accounts operational at the same time. For example,

Bob lives in Toronto and has a Rogers BB with a MONTHLY data plan, with 2 e-mail accounts on rogers' BIS website. He then has to spend 4 months of the year in the UK and Dubai. If his phone is unlocked, he has an Orange and Digicel simcard respectively, both with the Pay as You go options active and enough credit to use data without problems; can he simply fly over to London, pop in the Orange sim card and start using data services without problem.

Then after some time fly over to Dubai and pop in the digicel sim card then fly home for xmas and pop in the rogers sim card and never have to call customer support in either country and ask them to re-register his blackberry on their systems.

Or will he have to call CS each time he leaves the country telling them to remove his blackberry from the BIS service and then call CS in the new country and tell them to re-register him on their service.

You can only have one BIS account per BB active at any one time. BIS is tied to he device PIN.

To do what you suggest, Bob would have to cancel BIS on carrier A before adding it to carrier B in another country.

And keep in mind that if Bob was using the carrier supplied email address, it would be lost forever in the switch since it cannot migrate to a new carrier.
