Default Peer to Peer Networking Issue???

Please Login to Remove!

Is there anyone out there based in the America's (specifically North America) with friends based in Europe (specifically the UK) that are experiencing issues when trying to communicate with them via PIN/BBM.

Apparently there is something wrong, and I am trying to determine if there is an outage. The person on the UK side can talk to people in the UK and Canada, but not here in the US, and two of us in the US cannot talk to him in the UK.

Any ideas? Please advise.

Well, my messages to the UK were going through fine earlier, but after reading your thread, I double-checked the last messages I sent and my last two have not been delivered, and the person I'm messaging has the X on their name in BBM.

I already confirmed this with one of my friends in the UK. Contact unreachable in Blackberry messenger and no delivery status on PIN messages. I was trying to gauge how many people were affected but I am glad that I am not the only one. My concern is that it may be over looked and may not be addressed.

You can rest assured that it will be addressed. RIM has over 99% uptime, and they pride themselves on quick repairs.

Any word regarding this yet? To those people that do not use PIN messaging, it may not seem like a big deal but for those of us that do, it is a major issue.

I was given a case number to contact RIM by AT&T but she gave me six numbers instead of seven. She also gave me the wrong number. I had to look it up myself (not surprised)

The messaging appears to be working again, so maybe they found out whatever the cause of the problem was, but measures need to be taken so this can be monitored and prevented in the future.

Mine is still not working across the board in NA. Still having issues with a few contacts, including the RIM employee in Canada, lol.

Depends on the OS version.

I think it displays that when you are on the phone. Also note that status messages (in my experience) are not necessarily refreshed regulary often I see a status update/change until I IM the person. Has anyone else experience? Or am I way off base? Sorry for going off topic.
