Default Duplicate Entries in Outlook 2003 while syncing Blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

Hello All,
I am new here and would like to greet all of you. I am experiencing an issue while syncing my Sprint Blackberry 8330 curve to Microsoft Outlook 2003, without BES. Before I experienced this issue I was experiencing an issue while syncing my Outlook calendar to the Device, it would always error out on a specific record number. So I upgraded the Desktop software to 4.6 which solved my issue but magically another issue arised. Now I am getting duplicate entries on my Outlook 2003 Calendar while syncing to my Blackberry. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Default Me TOO

I just got my 8330 Curve... Used the BB Desktop Manager that came in the CD - version 4.3.0.17.

I have about 5300 Calendar entries (I set to sync 45 days in past, and originally set to 9999 days into the future, but after 1st sync, I reduced that to 1065 days, as that is approx 3 years).

I see not most if not all (I do not have time to verify all 5300 entries, if that is accurate) calendar entries are duplicated.

One thing I notice, on one mtg for today, I updated the subject on the PC (linked to my PST file), and after the sync w/ the BB, the BB's calendar shows BOTH entries, the orig and the updated one.

HELP!!!

As I suggested to winger 13, try a one-way sync if either your BB or dekstop, whichever has the most up to date info.

Now, why would the Desktop software reverse the issue???

how many calendar entries to you have and what are your settings (how many days in the past, in the future, etc) ?

first I would upgrade you your desktop manager to 4.7, to do this...
Perform a clean uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop Software
then download and install 4.7
if all the entries in your blackberry are correct, delete the ones in outlook and resync
and there is an option also in sync that you can tell heldheld to overwrite or outlook to overwrite(wins)
