Verizon has been experiencing data outages since approximately 1:30PM - 3:14PM. Verizon says this has impacted the East Coast preventing data, SMS, and PIN traffic.

This outage has been verified in Washington, DC and Annapolis, MD.

As of right now it appears the services are once again available, however noticeably slow for the time being.

This just in.

There is currently an outage in the Northeast affecting ALL Data Services including Mobile Web, VZ Nav, Chaperone, and all other data services.
You do not need to call in a trouble ticket, we are working to resolve as quickly as possible.

I am not having any problems in Philadelphia either. Web, VZ Nav, e-mail, SMS, MMS and everything else appears to be working fine.

Default yea

Those VZ a-holes. The one time I needed to make a critical PM. It wouldn't go through. I called VZ @ 2:30 and asked if they were having data issues in the DC area. After playing their 20 questions (phone#, passcode...)
the person says "would you like me to help you with your problem?"
WHAT DO YOU THINK I CALLED FOR?
"well are you on the phone now?"
YES, I CAN GUARANTEE YOU IT"S NOT MY PHONE - NEVER MIND.
"thank you for calling Verizon"

At exactly 3pm, the problem magically fixed itself.
Jeez they piss me off.
