Default Centennial Wireless Question?

Please Login to Remove!

I have been all through this site researching and learning and am very curious as to to why there is no information regarding Centennial Wireless?

While researching different threads there seems to be a lot of information such as TCP/APN info for every other carrier but Centennial?

Just wondering...

Small regional GSM provider, not sure how many states it covers, just Michigan and Indiana I think. Much smaller than T-Mobile and AT&T, so I think that there are fewer customers, and even fewer BB customers.

I am not sure, but I think that it is limited to those two states, maybe western Ohio?

Looks like more than just the states I mentioned.

I know they are defintely here in Cajun Country!

You are probably right about their Blackberry numbers though. C/W's selection of Blackberry's is very limited.

I had not heard about this:

AT&T has announced a $944 million dollar buyout of Centennial Communications Corp. as of Nov, 11 2008. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval, the approval of Centennial’s stockholders and other customary closing conditions. Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, Centennial’s largest stockholder, has agreed to vote in support of this transaction. AT&T is working to obtain approvals by the end of the second quarter of 2009.

They added BB's September 27, 2007 so the number of users is probably still small in comparison to the other US carriers.
