I have a relatively new 7750 (30 days old or so), and today when I tried installing white ninja, I was told that I did not have enough free memory. So I had to delete some things first. But I was surprised, because I didn't have that much 3rd party stuff installed. My old 957 with its minute memory by comparison seemed to hold more.

Is there any way of breaking down the file system info? I know I can get file free & file total from the help screen, and I can go to options->apps and see what each app has seperately, but what I would really like is a kind of "directory info" list where you can itemize each component and its file size.

Am I out of luck or can anyone suggest anything?

Get the RIM Java JDE, install it.

Then once done, go to program files\Research in Motion\Blackberry JDE\bin and use the javaloder.exe

'javaloader -usb dir' will do the trick..

then you can 'javaloader -usb erase <module name>' etc..
