I just got my 8830. been loading some 3rd party software to improve the emails and personal planner.

What is up with the contact list? I need a software that better lists and characterizes my contacts. I dont want just one single long list.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Use categories to filter/organize your contacts.

That's how it's designed to show the contacts.

You could assign the contacts to different categories and then filter the list based on those categories (or view them all).

I have 30 list of contact on my 8830, I assinged catagories to them and now I have a list of 34 contacts on my phone. The catagory does not lesson the list is just ads to it.

?? After you assigned the category to the contacts, did you then filter to only view specific categories?
