Default Did Tmobile pulled 4.2.191? If yes, why?

Please Login to Remove!

On their website i see they went down to the earlier software 4.1.0346
Does anyone know for what reason they did that? It used to be 4.2.191 before.

I believe because they were having issues with that update. They did the same thing with the 4.2.1.103 update for the 8100 device, before they put up the currect 4.2.1.107 update. Maybe we will see another release for the 8700 shortly.

Preventing upgrades.... It had to be deleted from the PC before you could upgrade...

Default THANK TO etihan!!!

Finally I get the downgrade back on my bb 8700g after i downloaded it from tmobile you annonced. I am sick of 4.2 and I tossed it out of my 8700g.. I think better stick to original Handheld v 4.1.0.346 with 8700g for rest of lifetimes!

MANY THANK TO etihan.

via 8700g~

The 4.2v OS on my BB had problems as such backlight, browser, slow loading, more diffcult connect IM clients. Those made me so frustrate factor.

4.1v is the best original software factor for 8700 series.

etihan, no need to delete it at all. just use desktop manager and ask you for downgrade and back up/restore to save on your pc before itself will delete 4.2 off and the (downgrade) 4.1 OS loading on your bb to process until everything backup data and messages restore done. Thats not hard to do.. .

I might add the comment on this, the previous v4.2 OS I had other battery life drain so quickly for 15 hours less. Thats why I got the downgrade/ original v4.1 OS back to my 8700 after T-mobile site's 4.1 OS software downloaded my pc to save it. the actual v4.1 OS is deeply pure and prefect OS on 8700g without glitches nor bugs. the original 4.1 OS is just for the original 8700g.

Default 4.2

The reason i was told by tmobile bb support was because of glitches. I have been receiving same email all day... over 400 now.. Also wouldn't delete text messages. the right rocker would not unlock phone either, had to use the key combo option, unlike with 4.1!
