Visual Voicemail is CARRIER dependant.
Its all to do with whether your carrier OFFERS it.

It was an Iphone specific feature but now other carriers offer it for other smartphones.

My carrier does not have this option, which is fine, but I know other Canadian carriers offer it. I'm not sure how it looks and works through them though.
