Default ok here

download high version for Nextel 7520

Logged on to myspace, it worked, but it looked like I had new messages comments etc, but when I looked, I did not see any.

Controls are hard to get used to.

Gary

Tried it and liked it alot. The pages load pretty fast and I like the overall interface. However, like everyone else posted, it's very cumbersome to use on the BB. The thumbwheel needs alot more integration. I also don't like how you can't fill in forms right on the page or do Alt-Thumbwheel to choose an option from a drop-down menu.

One other thing that would be really handy is that the Blackberry Browser will guess a URL if it's in the history (like IE does). It definitely help save typing in really long URL's.

Ok I'm not sure if the two are connected but today I should say Sunday All my email and internet work but I cannot get verichat or ramble IM to connect. I never had this problem before. I even did a master reset and power off my phone by removing my battery, still no use.

Any ideas?

I would also like the OPTION to turn of the splitting of large pages. My BB has enough memory to handle them.

Default Download server problems

We have had a problem with our download server since we made an upgrade a few days ago. The server forget about the special Blackberry-build and served the regular Opera Mini build instead.

If you have installad Opera Mini on your Blackberry device the last three days and Opera Mini is painfully slow you probably did get the wrong version. In this case, please download the right version from http://mini.opera.com/bb with your Blackberry-browser (not Opera Mini).

Sorry for the inconvinience!

I echo the navigation issue - make it more like other BB products, especially regarding the scroll wheel. Worked great otherwise, on 8700c on TMo.

I tried it last nite and there some design problems. There are issues with the jogwheel's interface with the software (does not follow standard Blackberry guidelines)..

And there's no reason to be branding "Opera Mini" at the top of the browser. There's already very limited real-estate so it's unnecessary to remind us the name of the software.

I've got a 7520 and I dl'd it OTA. Installed low memory version. Nav'd to sites like Google, Y!, Cnet and my intranet portal. It loads faster than the BB Browser and centers pages so that viewing's easy on the eyes. Navigating the new controls was a hassle. I agreed with most posters in that shortcuts and navigation based on industry standards will insure easier/faster browser adoption. Great effort so far - keep it up.
