If this holds up, that means we wont see a release for almost 3 weeks! Unless they drop it before they have the party (which I never heard of).
I'll give it untill Thursday, if no word is out by then I'm going to pick up an o2 version or a Vodafone version and unlock it!

Just checked BG's site and he's holdin on to that Friday release! I check his site daily, and ya gotta admit he brings alot of stuff to our attention with his website! I'm gonna trust him on this one!!! Come on BG, I really hope your right on the money with this one!

Does anybody know when the invites will be going out. I was invited for the 8800 launch party but since i am a business customer im not sure if we will recieve an invite for the 8300 launch

I have a dumb question, where would one go buy a 02 or vodaphone version of the curve if you live in the US. Does anybody where you can buy one unlocked?

i just checked with my business rep and he doesnt have any info yet. you guys are willing to spend 100's more to get it a week or two earlier?? must be nice to have that cash to burn.

your invite would come from your Cingular account rep. My rep is confirming the date for me as we speak but I'm not sure if I can attend since its in NY.

For 99% of us there is no party. The 8300 release is not going to like the 8800. It will just start to arrive at our local dealers on Friday.

At this point, no one knows the price yet.

We haven't heard much in the ATT corporate stores. I only know what I've found myself. The only thing we hear about is the darn iPhone!!! Even that info isn't concrete

Well this phone is nice If TMO won't carry it until soon, apparently someone on phonescoop said fall cause of the 8800 then I'll get the 8300 unlocked. I am trying to find a release date from here ;) but I know that the phone is branded AT&T :P

I just received an email from our AT&T Rep that said:

"I just got confirmation from our RIM Representative that there will not be a RIM Curve Launch Party."

Take it for what it’s worth coming from AT&T reps.

I still think it’s on and i hope it's with AT&T !
