We have a user on our BES who wiped his device by entering 5 wrong passwords. Once the wipe completed, it asked for a new password but no matter what he enters, he gets the error : Invalid password, sequence was entered.
The policy on his device (through our BES) enforces 8+ characters and at least 1 number, but he was entering (or claiming he was) his name (8 characters) and 1 number or different numbers and it continued to give the same error. Any ideas?
Apparrently, the user was just typing david123 or david234 or davidson1 and none of that worked, so I had him type blackberry0 and it worked fine. Not sure what the issue was.
Maybe it was just type to replace the user and press any key.
