I will try it (even though I hate BlackBerry Unite ), but I don't think it will work. A service book is a service book. Myself and fellow member acnst have been trying to accomplish a way to get the service books on there with no luck. He had the idea of transferring your service books from a previous device using Desktop Manager but that was unsuccessful, for me anyway.

I remember doing something like that to get the RIM IM apps to work a while ago. It is too bad that didnt work here.

Have you had any luck getting the BB browser to work on t-mobile through BB Unite!? I am starting to lose hope in the Javelin being released this year and thinking of buying a Bold to hold me over.

Yeah. They're not getting it. T-Mobile will get the Javelin 8900 instead.

Really?!? Again.. This has been discussed over and over and over and over and over again. In plain English:

"T-MOBILE IS NOT GETTING THE BLACKBERRY BOLD.. EVER".

T-Mobile USA Will NOT Carry the 9000 Bold… Ever. | BlackBerryNews.com

If you want a Bold. It's eBay or bust.

I purchased a Bold unlocked from Canada and have been using it. My browser is snappy fast via Wifi, the only way that I can use it. But to be honest, I dont surf the web much anyway and the apps I use I can use the APN settings. So all in all I am satisfied with my purchase!!!

Recently I saw that a new version is out .167 I think, thought about going to it. The OS on the phone is from Rogers but removing the Vendor file, Im good.

T-Mobile passed on the Blackberry 9000.

They have delayed the 8900 until Q109 (late Jan?)

They got the exclusive on the Blackberry 8220.

This is the entirety of the T-Mobile Blackberry news for the rest of 2008. Can we let this thread pass away now?

Apparently they care concentrating on the 8220 Flip Pearl and the G-1 - more in the consumer space - and the upcoming Javelin.

The Bold is not coming to TMobile. The next device to come to TMobile will likely be the Javelin. It's slated for Q1 of 2009. Would be nice if it came in December but it's not likely.

Should be able to get an unlocked Rogers or AT&T 8900 pretty easily in December! If you dont need T-Mobile UMA and dont want to sign a contract why wait!?

Well I just purchased an unlocked version of Roger's Bold cause I couldn't wait any longer for the new 8900.....All I need is basic web function, BES, and work on edge network and I'm good. After seeing my brother's AT&T version, I fell in love and ordered one. Hopefully it won't be too painful to set up to work on T-mobile network.
