Default Touble with the Latest Bold OS

Please Login to Remove!

I recently installed the newest Bold software as indicated at the top of the Bold page (Asia.) I was doing fine, but then decided to upgrade the Desktop Manager OS. When I did that, I couldn't get the Bold to synch with the Desktop. I have now removed the newer Desktop and reverted to the older version, but the Bold doesn't want to synch. I would like to remove the new OS from the device and go back to the older OS, but the PC will not let me do that. How can I remove the device software from the Bold and install the older version? Any help is appreciated.

If you installed the latest Dekstop manager, your sync settings would need to be reconfigured.
This is all you need to do.

I know about that, but the pc won't even load the device software. Perhaps, it recognizes the newer device software and won't allow me to install the older version. Suggestions?

the sync settings are in desktop manager.
just connect the phone, open desktop manager, go to sync.
then the syncronisation tab at the side
then the syncronisation button in the center and make sure you have setup the sync settings the way you want.
then try to sync.

It has nothing to do with the device software, and you shouldn't need to downgrade to sync.
