With 1.5 still, when I stop the radio, data continues for almost 4 minutes after the connection has been closed. Then I am still unable to start another radio station. If I do, I get connection closed right away but data continues again for another 4-5 minutes.

Have you changed the Radio buffer settings?
The version 1.5 is intended to stop the UI operations allowing immediate flexibility for the user to select other station or to exit to main player for media playback. As mentioned earlier, due to the amount of data requests we have sent - the server will keep responding though you have stopped (for most station we read data at 24kbps and we send that many requests for smooth streaming) but this will not cause any performance degradation.
In your case (BES/MDS user) I seriously doubt the direct connection causing any effects - but be assured our development team is working on a version for you, which should soon be available via direct e-mail that you provided while registering for beta program.
Thanks for your cooperation and interest in our applications.

Alright, hah that's the second time I asked. I thought just might have come out in this new version.
I'd pay $50 to buy this app if it supported XM radio streaming.

are you all getting 128kbps streams or 56kbps streams?
Look, not to hijack this topic but XM and Sirus suck. Basically, your paying for more radio station music that has been far worn out. For example, I was hopeing thier classic rock stations would have some good obscure stuff but it was just the same old sh*t like Boston, ect. Winamp Shoutcast stations offer far more diveristy and thier free!

IT Policies problem
I wanted gapless support and was really looking forward to using this application, but after installing it I tried to open it and got error messages. The initial message reads "The application mediaPlayer has attempted to open internal connection which is not allowed by your IT policy". I get the same error when I try to add files to a playlist. It seems that the IT policy won't let this application read my memory card. I can see the memory card on the built in media player, though. Do you have a fix for this?
I am using an 8300. Your vNotes appears to want to access "sdcard/", but when I go into the media player installed by RIM the card is call "media card/". Could this be why it does not work?

This keeps on giving me error "Connection Closed!".
I have BIS on Cingular and my Device is 8800 with 4.2 OS.
None of the included channels and I added my channels as well and did not work. All APN Settings are correct.

I would like to ask if you could implant a feature to where I can adjust the volume of the music playing by the side panel volume buttoms? That would be really usefull to me because I hae autolock on my phone and I have to unlock it everytime I want to adjust the volume.

OK, I just downloaded and am trying the free trial.
You have a new customer once you incorporate XM and Sirius!
Great work!

RIM won't allow access to the keys, a security deal.

Sure, we are considering Last.fm, Xm online and Sirius online for version 2.0. But before that we need to make our software 100% BEs compatible, as many users are facing problems at this end - once it is done, sure you can expect an major release from us. Will keep you all updated on the improvements.

Feel free to try out various stations - the above image also illustrates it - just while in Radio screen, hit "Add stations", enter proper url and port, you are done, you can find some stations urls shared by few users at Dollars 5 Community :: View topic - Internet Radio stations for mediaPlayer/Radio
Should you have any problems, feel free to get back to us.
