I got mine thru TMO about over a month ago. it was 199.99 plus $50 rebate. I charged it to my AMEX, and till this day, the charge is still not on my AMEX. I don't know but I think something messed up during the transaction. So I guess my phone is free????? I'm tempted to send in my $50 mail in, but since my AMEX hasnt been charged, Im afraid if I send the rebate, they will confirm the purchase, and then, possibly, they will catch the error and charge my card as they were supposed to.....? what do you guys think????

two months, what the heck?! That's a really long time. Did you wait for the charge on your AMEX before you claimed the rebate???? I have until 04/31 to send out the rebate and have been debating on to send it out or not due to the charge still not showing. I'm wondering if they charged due to the same reason as me... if you sent the rebate before the charge, maybe thats how they corrected the problem??????? let me know!

I didn't send the rebate because I forgot about it. They had already charged my AMEX account by the time I sent the rebate in. I would wait till the last minute to send it in. If you send it now, like you said they might charge you when they process the rebate and find that the phone has not been paid for. If you don't send it and your rebate expires and they end up charging your account then you be screwed out the the 50 bucks. Just wait and see what happens.

Yeah... I'm gonna wait last minute... I'm kinda stick in the middle... I'm thinking I will eventually be charged and should send out the rebate to get my 50bucks..cuz knowing my luck.. Ill wait and I won't be charged till after the rebate expires.. Then I'll be really pissed.. I'm just wondering why it takes so long to reflect the charge... Weird

I paid C$300 for my Pearl ..... with the beauty of having no contract - can't buy freedom.

Just remember .... nothing is really free - a typical 2 year contract will run you approx $50-$60 / month at a minimum - that' anywhere from $1,200 to $1,400 over 2 years - some will say that you would have spent that money anyway on a program - I partly agree - but not having a contractual obligation with a provider is ..... priceless !!!

Where? Most 1 year contracts cost about $200.

a1wireless.com/phones/tmobile/

There is one that offers it for free (after mail in rebates) with a one year contract.

I plan to print it out and go to a T-Mobile location and ask them to match it. I hear a lot of them will do it if you are willing to walk out on them.
