I cannot remove the missed call indicator on my main screen. I have looked in the call log and it looks like any call logs prior to April 18 were deleted. I am assuming the missed call was deleted some how, but it is still being recognized by the missed call indicator. Any suggestions?

Have you tried pulling the battery for about 30 seconds, with the device powered on?

Remember to go into your voice mail and also your SMS/messages screen and delete from there.

I had the same problem and fixed it by upgrading the OS. I tried everything before that and nothing would clear it.

Of course, I have some different problems now... but at least that dang missed call icon is gone!!

For me, the solution was as described by ndub33, I pulled the battery with the phone powered on, waited about 30 seconds, and plugged it back in. When it finished with it's power up, the icon was gone. It's happened a couple of times over the past 2 years, both times the same fix was used.
