Default MMS Messaging...Can't Send/Receive???

Please Login to Remove!

Am I right when I'm thinking that MMS is a Multimedia Message? I had someone send me a message with a picture attached and never received it. I have a messages folder and then my seperate email message box. I also tried to create a message and send an attachment but couldn't...did I not set up my MMS messages or what? All I have is "Compose Email", "Compose PIN", "Place Call", "Compose SMS Text", and "BlackBerry Messenger"...

Any help would be appreciated...Thank you.

Just really surprising that Sprint doesn't "offer" MMS messaging...isn't MMS almost a standard feature these days?

Obviously it's not a huge deal but it seems very strange and pretty damn crappy for sprint customers.

you have to have a data plan on ATT, MMS uses the data network not the voice

you can receive picture mail (MMS) on sprint, but not send. to send you just have to attach the image/audio to an email and send out that way

I didn't know you could have a blackberry without a blackberry data plan. But I have not had AT&T for about a year now. But back when I was using it you had to have the data plan to activate the phone. This was only true to blackberry, treo's and windows mobile devices didn't have to have them. Then again there was no MMS available either. Is the MMS offered to all blackberry devices or just the Perl and curve?

i tried to send it as a MMS and it wouldn't work (kept doing the red X next to the message) and most of my friends don't have email on their phones. is there a way to send a picture from a verizon 8130 to any phone? i am running the oem OS (just got the phone today) if that makes a difference..
thanks in advance for any help!
