Hello,

I have an 8700r and running the latest desktop tool. I have this thru our company so I think I am using BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server????). My outlook shows 0 mail are unread and this is CORRECT. I am trying to get my BB show the same thing but I cannot. I have tried to synch wirelessly and with the wire but no go. Is there any settings I need to change so that my BB shows all mails as unread just as my outlook?

Open the Message ribbon on your BlackBerry. Highlight the most current date and press the scroll wheel. Select Mark Prior Opened.

Its the messages icon. RIM refers to each icon as a "ribbon".

Hi,
Another thing I noticed also. The suggestions you gave worked like magic. However, I noticed that I have to do that everyday on my BB. So that my outlook still shows say 30 READ e-mails but the BB shows them as UNREAD. Is there a way to set the fix you gave me to automatically sych both well? Thx again.
