"Restore" Grayed out

I was upgrading to new OS and my computer decided to do a reboot. . . . Well I was smart enough to do a manual back up before starting the OS update. . . . long story short, I had to do a complete wipe out of the phone. . . Now when I go to restore my phone through DM the "Restore" button is grayed out. . . along with the "backup" button.
any idea where I should go from here?
