Im new here so dont be mean :P
I recently just purchased a BlackBerry Pearl 8100 off of Ebay. I was just wondering since I have no BB Data Package if it would charge me if I use BBM? And if it charges me when people PING me? Any info on this would be great! Thanks all in advance!

You will not be able to use BBM without a data plan.

I believe pin messages count as data.

Also read "what do I need a data plan for?" on the FAQ. Its very helpful - I'd link it but that's difficult via WAP.

ahah alight. So if I use BlackBerry Messenger without a Data Package ill be paying through the nose on data?

i have a 8320 BB 4.2. OS. when i go to youtube and click watch video, it was not working. it said "a problem occurred while typing to render the page" please help me make it work.
second, when i log in yahoo messenger and it said i have to active at blackberry.com/go/yahoo and do i have to download something? can someone show me the steps.

Also I got one more question for you. I know it has nothing to to with BBM but I really need help. You know the clicking sound that Blackberry's have when you scroll with the ball? Well mine is really really really REALLY low volume. Was wondering if you can help with that?

My understanding is you won't be able to use it at all.

Also to add to my question above about the volume. When I play games with sound it is also VERY low. The only time I can actual hear noise is when im playing music in which I have the option to change the volume.

Figured out the sound in games now just need help fixing the scroll ball sound.
