Has anyone tried the new desktop manager with Parallels running Vista on a MacBook? I have installed it on my MacBook Pro and the program runs fine and shows a connection with my 8830 but the application loader doesn't do anything after that.

I don't know if the problem is with Java or something with Parallels in Vista.

Anyone else tried out the new DM with Vista and having this problem?

Could be Vista, no shock there... Same setup as you just I'm running XP with no issue.

Works on XP for me, I haven't tried it with Vista ... However, I only use the XP VM to do software updates on the Blackberry, I sync with Missing Sync on OS X.

I have a Sony Vaio for an XP laptop and DM V4.3 does everything fine with my 8830 on it. I guess I will just use it for apps and updates.

I have PocketMac for sync on OS for contacts. Still waiting for the update for Leopard for it.

I couldn't get my BB to work using Parallels, DM and XP Pro either. I installed VMWare, XP Pro and DM and it works fine.

I read somewhere, on here I think, that Parallels had problems with DM but I could be wrong.

I'm having the same problem (I think anyways). I'm running 64 bit Vista and When Roxio tries to open it freezes and just dings when you try to click on it as if there was a window open behind it..

I wouldnt doubt if its because its 64 bit though...
