Default Calendar synch to Yahoo without BES

Please Login to Remove!

I am now a BB user without access to BES. Using the web client to receive emails works fine. Yahoo has a new tool that allows you to sync to outlook, etc. Is there a tool out there that will allow me to synch my calendar on the bb without BES please?

Or is there a tool that will allow me to manage my calendar on the PC then synch to the bb without BES?

Thank you.

If you can sync Yahoo to Outlook, then you can sync your blackberry to outlook by using your Blackberry Desktop Manager.

Default sorry - no access to outlook

Sorry I should have been more specific. I no longer have access to outlook, hence the use of Yahoo calendar. I prefer updating my calendar on a PC and then I'd like to sync the bb. Is there an application available for this type of set up please?

OK, I'll bite. Can you do this WITH a BES on a MAC using entourage? I thought this was impossible, period.

How do you windows people do it?

asc0638, Intellisync for Yahoo syncs only with Outlook, Lotus, Act!, PPCs, and (though buggy) Palm. There is no direct conduit for BBs, so you won't be able to sync w/ Yahoo unless you go through an intermediary that also works with Intellisync for BB (i.e., Outlook, Lotus, or Act!). Of course, if you're using one of those PIMs, you probably wouldn't need Yahoo in the first place.

The only alternative I can think of at the moment is to try using ScheduleWorld or the beta Sync4j portal instead of Yahoo. These services let you maintain an online calendar and sync wirelessly using a SyncML BB client. They are still in their infancy, but if you don't have intense and/or extremely sensitive calendaring needs, they might be worth a shot.

Default Thanks!

Thank you for your suggestions. I'll try them and see what works. I was able to synch with Yahoo before I lost access to Outlook so most of my data is now in Yahoo...but now way to continue to update.

I second that, I have tried several times to set it up, the last time it hung my whole system up and had to take the battery out to reset before i deleted the program.

Default Like you, I seek a cal application that can directly synch with my BB.

I left a Lotus Notes environment and was supported by a BES server. Now, I am working individually looking for a way to work with an online calendar. Pls let me know if you learn a way to do this but I have concluded that I'll have to buy a calendaring program and go from there.
