We have the Pearl. I copied all the SIM contacts to the BB address book with no problem. When you hit the ESC it goe to personal and the phone contacxts from the SIM disappear. I have to go through the menu to pull up the SIM again, and use it through that. In other words, after a full copy of al SIM contacts the contacts are never readily accessible through the BB address book. They just disappear after a while or by hitting the ESC button. It is VERY frustrating! Help!
