massang,

yes the theme is on and its big. What I mean is that all the icons are large so you only have two rows. Also everything is RED.

But try it out you might like it.

You should be able to delete it using the 'erase -f' command

If you want to see the themes, this web site has all of them on the 7100 ... but you get the idea.

Update .... you only need the net_rim_theme_vodafone.cod file ... the other one is not needed.

Strange thing is that some of the programs are missing. Picture viewer is not there and password keeper either. Guess that theme is not really usable.

I have both of those and I'm using the Voda software and theme.

You're doing something wrong!

Go into the new "Applications" folder it puts on the main dashboard.

Yes you are correct!! Thanks ... like I said I thought it was strange. Its interesting the concept of folders. Any idea how to move something in the folder? Or out of the application folder? That would make the theme cool.

It would make the theme cool.

It would also make it magic, since I don't think that it is even possible, sadly.

Default Themes for 7250 (anything yet?)

I searching I'm digging and I'm RTFM'ng (actually in this case RTFBB'ng) but still no real answers on themes for the 72xx models ... That, ringtones and SPEED WONDERFUL SPEED are why I dumped my 7750 on the new hire and got myself a 7250 ... but there are no themes to be found!!

Has anyone found anything yet??

Yes, the answer is in this thread. The only other theme for the 7200s is the ugly red Vodafone theme. There are no other themes for the 7200s. There is no theme generator available (yet - it was promised last year).

Question....Does the 7100 vodafone theme work on the 72XX series?

If not, where can we get the net_rim_theme_vodafone.cod file? Then this can be provided for those people who really like it. (Believe me, there are people who do! At least, just to be different!)

No.

It doesn't work on my 7290 at least You can see the themes in the list, but you cannot activate them.

I don't know where it shoves the themes from the Voda bberry software, or I'd just pull it out. OTOH, anyone could do that.

I have extracted this file and installed it on my 7230 and it works great. Its a little big, icon wise, but I am using it. I would think it should work on the 7290 also.

I have that same issue as sempai with the 7510. I can see O2 and Vodafone in my list, but no option to choose them.

My experence is if you install any themes that end in *_240x260.cod they will not work. You can install it but you get some error message that it can not find the parent. If you install net_rim_theme_vodafone.cod this should work. But again on my 7230 anyway.

Please let me know if you find a theme with the O2 that will work. I did not find a file that did not end in 240x260.cod.

vinniet,

How did you get around that "Unable to find parent" error?

Do not install the theme *_240x260.cod. Instead install net_rim_theme_vodafone.cod theme and that should work.

I tried the link you posted earlier from smartphones and the only file to download includes _240x260 besides _blackberry. It may not work for my phone, but I wanted to see how you got past that error.
