Default BWC wireless syncing?

Please Login to Remove!

I have had my BB 7280 for about 4 months and have a Mailstreet BES account. We are deploying 20-30 BB's company wide now and I am not sure of the features of the new BWC 4.0 seeing how I do not run my email through this. Is the wireless syncing available for Cingular/ATT&T now and what syncing issuses does this give you through the BWC?

Will this provide the same wireless syncing of folders that I get with my hosted BES now? Now if I send an email it shows up on my Outlook sent folder on the desktop and visa versa. Will the BWC sync with the local desktop folders somehow or is it basically just going to forward the emails to the inbox?

We are just trying to see if we can avoid going the added cost of the BES way for these other units if we do not need to. If there is a link to learn more about the wireless sync features I would appreciate any help.

Thanks

BWC 4.0 does not support any wireless syncing. It supports enhanced attachment viewing - but no wireless syncing.

I am using BWC and I if I delete on the BB, I have it set to delete from the BWC also. If I create extra folders in BWC, they show on the BB and if I file messages in folders on the BB, they are filed on BWC as well.

So, in a way, there is synching between the BB and BWC, but it won't synch with Outlook.

Yeah, I was surprised to see that the BlackBerry will reconcile with the BWC, but if you have the BWC fetching mail from personal accounts, they don't get reconciled. :(

Makes me happy I'm a BES user. :D
