Question Jabra Jx10 owners...question....

Please Login to Remove!

I'm new to this forum. Heck, I don't even have my BlackBerry yet! Arrives in two days, but I'm trying to narrow down my headset choices.

So far I'm interested in the Jabra Jx10 and the BlackBerry 655. While I'm not impressed with the battery life on the 655, it did feel a little more comfortable due to the gel ear piece. The Jx10 didn't feel bad, I just wish the earpiece was seated a little deeper into the ear.

My question...has anyone actually fit the Jabra Ear Gels on the Jx10? If so, how did it work out?

I realize that all of this may be for not, until I actually use the headsets in the real world, but it's all part of the process.

Thanks and I'm looking forward to the forum!

I used a Jabra clear ear gel on my JX10 and worked great (till I accidently left it in a hotel room). I went to the ear gel because the clip broke off the headset while it was in my pocket. Anyway, ear gel is a good solution.

Thanks for the reply. Did you have to do anything special to get it to fit or was it straightforward?

Wirelessly posted (NakedBerry: BlackBerry7250/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/104)

I use the JX 10 without the ear loop and no gel and the thing is pretty comfortable and stable.

I did end up super gluing the ear gel onto the headset - kept coming off in my pocket.
