Default 6510: Completely clear out old data

Please Login to Remove!

Apologies if a post addressing this exists, but I did search and couldn't find one specific to my unit.

I want to clear all of the data off a BB that a friend gave me.

It's a T-Mobile 6510 and doesn't have the WIPE ALL (or similar) command under OPTIONS > SECURITY, so I would appreciate knowing how to do this.

The software is version 3.6.0.73.

Thanks in advance,
Eric

I believe you can use the Blackberry Desktop Manager for this. Connect your Blackberry, open the Desktop Manager and then double click on Backup and Restore. Next choose Advanced. On the right side under Handheld Databases will be all the info already on the device. You should be able to highlight each item and click on the Clear button. Do this to each one that you want cleared and that should do it.
