For me, the calculator works on the original TMo, List and O2 themes. It does not work on the 7700 Small Icons theme or the Vodafone theme.

Error message when loading under 7700 Small Icon Theme:

Uncaught exception:
Cannot find image:
highlight_calculator

Under Vodafone theme, it loads but is unusable.

bigface2k2 - I didn't need the Enterprise Activation applet, either, and I got a response on another post to just hide it (position on it, then shift + Click, and select Hide)

Isn't this handled by the PIM setup in the desktop manager? How far back you want to sync Mine is set to 180 days anthing before that is not on my BB.

Ah ha. Perhaps, that is how you get that option. I don't sync my BlackBerry with anything as my Outlook is through my company and I don't want my BlackBerry information on the computer beyond the back-ups.

Ah phooey.

I wonder if anyone has used the OS4.0 theme for the 7700 small icons theme. Hmm. I will test in a second and report back.

okay, same error with one from the Vodafone UK 7730 OS4.0 package. the odd thing is that these two cod files for net_rim_bb_standardcalculator_app are the same files (i believe).

it has dependencies on net_rim_bb_framework_api and net_rim_cldc, which could be where the differences are (not sure though).

First post, so go easy on me if this question is dumb:

Can I upgrade my 7100 to 4.0 even though my company's version of BES is not 4.0?

Yes, but there's not much you'll gain out of it until BES has been upgraded to 4.0 also. 4.0 software isn't very different than 3.8

not really all that much you'll gain after they upgrade to 4.0 either..

there's the enterprise activation (more useful for new users rather than existing ones), more sync capabilities, more of the Desktop Manager's options integrated into the handheld OS, but aside from that, there's really not all that much more included.

It has been working for me since 3.8.0.128, what problems are you facing?

The only thing that doesnt seem to work on BWC is JPG/GIF attachments.
Word and Doc attachments work though.

Anyone from Rogers have this installed and successfully working yet?

Also, anyone have it running fine with MyBlueberry.com?

Thanks,

I think I found a bug/issue if anyone cares.
Since upgrading to 4.0, I re-paired the phone to my acura handsfree link bluetooth system, but I had a little trouble the 2nd time I tried to make a call. It seems that if the keys are locked you cannot initate a call from the car system. The car bluetooth sees the phones, connects to it, but cannot place the call. If you unlock the keys, it works fine. Not a huge deal, but definitely annoying and all other phones I've ever used, and this one with 3.X worked fine when the keys were locked. Oh well, it does seem that the sound quality improved a little.

i complained about the quality a bit at first - seemed more hollow. however, now that i'm used to it, its much more crisp quality.

Ok, I'm not sure if the two are related, but now my screen goes all goofy when I turn it on. It either has a super contrast look to it, or it is random colored lines. If I holster it and take it back out, the screen returns to normal.

This started right after loading 4.0, so perhaps it is a software thing?

So far I'm giving this update a
