I'm not getting the full picture, is this an additional $10 on top of your MyFav plans and you get TMO to TMO plus the ability to share MyFAv's?

Yeah. Normally you would pay $9.99 to add M2M on a Family MyFaves plan. The promotional version is $9.99 and includes unlimited wifi calling, M2M and (supposedly) sharing of each person's faves with the rest of the plan members.

Wow, talking about kicking myself for not taking good advise, I wished I'd had bought the 8320 like suggested since I rarely use the GPS on the 8310 now that the initial glitter and glimmer are over.

This addon is now available. Once added, it is called "Unlimited Family 4-Pack" on My T-Mobile. You have to call 611 to get it added. Make sure they remove the mobile to mobile addon if you already have that. He back dated the addon to the beginning of the current billing cycle.

You can add the option now even if you don't have UMA capable phones but utilize mobile to mobile. The cost is the same, and then the option will be there for you when you do get a UMA capable phone.

I just called TMO and they confirmed that in fact the myFaves are shared among members of the family plan! That was unclear from the press release and was a source of much discussion over on HoFo.

SEE EDIT IN POST #8 BELOW - THIS INFO MAY BE INACCURATE

Everyone at HoFo believes that the press release was poorly worded and that faves are NOT shared between lines on a family plan.

CSRs provide varied responses.

Will have to check the first month's bill to see.

Here's the HoFo thread: HowardForums: Your Mobile Phone Community & Resource - T-Mobile new Family 4-Pack Promotion

Do you have to extend the contract?

This is just an addon (like txt messaging, mobile2mobile, etc) and therefore does not require a contract extention.

You should call 611 instead of adding online because they can backdate the change to the start of the billing period.
