In 1 on the pre-installed themes it's not even there and in the other one it is a square whit box with a yellow stripe through it.

Then when I go to some other themes I have installed same white square box with a yellow stripe through it.

Is my bold going to self destruct!!!! Lol...

Weird.

Yeah, same thing happened to mine just today. Only the XM icon as you mentioned. Went from the radio icon that it was to a white box with an orange rectangle in the middle. I tried a soft reboot and pulling the battery, and it's still the same. I just decided to hide it since I really don't plan on using it anyway. Everything else seems to be functioning fine.

I tried installing it but it doesn't work on the Bold. The XM site says Bold is not supported.

FYI: I just upgraded to the OS 4.6.0.185 that Tom posted and the XM icon is back.

For the OP's, I don't plan on activating this - my media card holds my tunes, it just bugged me that there was a dead icon on a brand new device...Thought it was something maybe I did screwing with themes.

this happened for me when i upgraded from the .168 to the .190. I don't use XM so I simply deleted the service book entry. I know it will reappear but for now I don't want to see a white square with a yellow patch in it. Yuck!

It looks like that's the route to go if you want the icon to appear normal again. Doesn't necessarily have to be the newer updates. If you download the original AT&T software and load your core apps again manually through DM, the icon issue is fixed.
