We're using BES5.0.1 for Groupwise, and some of our users are missing appointments they made before they were activated on the BES server.

In the manuals they keep refering to traittool to fix these issues, but ot looks like we're missing some 'traits' ?

for example, when i use :
TraitTool -user -trait GroupWiseSmartSyncSendUpdate -set true
I get :
Trait GroupWiseSmartSyncSendUpdate not defined.

if I check with traittool -show I see that it is not there,
Do I have to update this first, and if yes, how ?

Usually, GroupWise desktop is very stable and will not missing much. However, when come to sync up with BES. Also, pending on the service provider. Try to delete the user, wait for a while and then recreate the user account, then sync up. Sometime it will take up to few hours before everything is working. If you already passed all these basic troubleshooting issues, then called up BB Tech Support.
