Why doesn't Youtube work anymore?
Please Login to Remove!
I remember when 4.5 first came out and we we all excited to get to watch the grainy postage stamp video streams on Youtube via our 83xx Curves and the BB browser and media player.
After not really caring about Youtube in quite sometime, I pulled it up today after upgrading to .162 and I click on the link for the video on the youtube page and nothing happens. Tried it under both UMA and EDGE. This used to work! Anyone have a clue as to why???

Works fine on mine. Which browser are you using? Have you tried using a different browser?

Youtube and the BB browser seem to be buggy at times. Sometimes I can't play the same video twice.

Just to clarify, the YouTube problems are specifically caused by Opera Mini 5 beta. I had the same problems.
I still have Opera Mini 4.2 on my BB and YouTube videos play fine.

Looks like Mini Opera was causing problems. Thanks. BB Browser now at least launches the Media player to attempt playback now when I select the "watch video" link however the media player now just sits there with the green and white "Loading..." OSD in the upper right hand corner when I'm on UMA via WiFi (tried all browser modes). On EDGE mobile connection the video plays fine, albeit choppy.
