Default subfolders on yahoo email account

Please Login to Remove!

Is there a way that the BB can show the subfolders that I have set up in my yahoo email account? Or do I have to discontinue the use of all the folders and let everything flood into the inbox? I have the BB Tour.

If you are using BIS not BES, then no. you cannot have folders.

Thanks, Midnightdraven! I'm new to BBs, so while I know that BES is blackberry enterprise system, I'm not sure about BIS. But, I should ask, do I need to try to figure out how to use BES? And if I do figure it out, will it work with yahoo?

BES does not integrate with Yahoo.
For the messaging platform, BES requires Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino or Novell Groupwise.

Always research before buying tech (or anything for that matter).

I really don't get these

"I heard BB's are best for email, why doesn't it...?"
"For $XXXX, it ought to..."

and similar posts.

And Google Apps in the near future, supposedly.

Yeah, I did research, but all of the reviews were glowing so much that I couldn't see any blemishes. Plus, I asked sales reps lots of questions and find that, in some instances, they just lied to me. Don't get me wrong, the BB is a cool phone. It does a lot of stuff (I don't need), but doesn't do some of the stuff I really want.

I will have to step up my research though. I may return the BB and seek something else.

Default Post-BB: Pre?

If you're on Sprint, you may want to check out the Palm Pre. I'm too new here to post links, but I can say that Anandtech, one of my favorite hardware review sites, has a great review entitled, understandably:

AnandTech: The Palm Pre Review (June 19, 2009)

A browser search will surely take you there.

Enjoy!

The Palm Pre definitely shows sub-folders. I have one but prefer my BlackBerry(s).

My user asked me a similar question, too. She setup yahoo on her personal BB. However, both of her yahoo email show up at the main inbox and Yahoo folder. Technically, I can hide that Yahoo folder for her. So, it look much less confuse. Is there any technical solution?
