Default 3rd party apps

we should make some kind of "this is safe to use" list. I downloaded a slider app earlier cause I wanted a better lock function and an easier to unlock feature. The app had five star reviews. I paid for it as well. Within a few hours of installing it. I got a message from "blackberry resource manager" or something saying "This application is using too much resources and now I can't send sms' again and will have to re-wipe. Are any of these apps 100% safe and tried and tested?

Is the app made for your specific model (8120) and OS? The 8120 doesn't have a lot of memory.

Did you download from AppWorld?

I have never had a problem with any app from AppWorld, but I did make sure the app was made for my device and OS.
