Default Auto on not working

Please Login to Remove!

I have my BB set to Auto off at 10:30PM and Auto On at 6:30AM every weekday. Recently my BB has not been automatically turning on. Under the AUTO ON/OFF in OPTIONS the times are correct and the function is set as ENABLED. If I manually power off my BB a box appears stating that the BB is scheduled to automatically turn on 7:55AM the next day rather than at 6:30AM as listed in AUTO ON/OFF. The Time on the BB is set correctly and matches the Network time. Any ideas why this would be occurring. Before anyone slams me, yes I did search but did not find this problem. I appreciate any help.

Thanks

I will bump this one time and if I get no response I will assume I am beyond help or my questions is worded so poorly no one understands my problem.

Thanks

I experience the same problem on all three of my 8700c's. For whatever reason, the auto on/off works at times. It seems to work if I let the auto off work, but will not auto on if I manually turn if off before the time set.

coreyg510,

thanks for the link but do you have any idea how to remedy the situation? The determiniation made in the link (calendar reminders) does not apply to my problem. However, from the link you provided and from WSW's response above it sounds like this may just be something I have to live with. I appreciate your help!

I too have the same problem with our CEO's blackberry. Auto on/off enabled for 07:00 23:00. When switching device off the message appears "The device is scheduled to turn on at 3 Apr 13:45". Removing battery does not clear. If I disable auto on/off the message disappears. Enable again, message reappears. Change times - still same message.

The problem seems to be created when I manually turn my bb off rather than letting it auto off. i have been very careful not to to manually turn it off and I have not been experiencing the problem. I don't understand why manually turning the BB off would create a problem but for some reason it does.

I have this problem with a new BB8700c. Never had the problem with a prior BB7100c.

I did notice that the software "Off" button gives two choices: "Off" and "Fully Off". I'm wondering if the physical power off button is "Fully Off", so there's no clock watching to turn the BB back on. Just a guess. I'm going to try the software "Off" option and see if the BB will properly wake up.

It worked -- after using software "off", my BB8700 woke itself up just fine.
