VZW BIS also semi-functional here in Seattle. Can't load web pages. Apps which use BIS connectivity fail - work fine when switched to direct TCP.

Email is working though.

Data services impaired on Sprint in west Michigan. BBWeather not updating or timing out, FB app timing out, JiveTalk failing.

Data is very poor here in Cleveland Ohio area. Most page loads time out. Cannot download anything. Verizon doesn't seem to know it. I called them. Voice is OK, data sure isn't. I'm glad it's not just me. Thanks for buying Alltel, Verizon!

Looks like Berry Review is reporting BIS outages on AT&T and Verizon (and maybe others) across the country. Juwaack had the right idea. Time for bed!

Vzw says it's a known outage affecting RIM, & is not carrier specific. No ETA for resolution but they are working on it.

I too had issues with browsing last night. Email ok. I put the blackberry down and went to bed, not worry about it unless it was still not working when I woke up. All is well for me this morning.
